Whopper Virgins

Following a Hot Dog post, I thought maybe one about burgers. The Whopper vs Big Mac rivalry is an ongoing opposition. This time Burger King's Miami-based creative agency Crispin Porter + Bogusky offer a new take on an old brief, conducting a taste test where the participants have never heard of a burger. The scope of the research has led to a really interesting campaign.

The Hot Dog Launcher!

While looking into T-Shirt launchers, I uncovered a further realm of possibility with regard to firing popular objects at stadium crowds. Ice cream was interesting but the Hot Dog launcher was for me the most exciting innovation in this particular field. The video below is a documentary charting the invention of the Hot Dog launcher.

Mistletoe Makeover

This is a little bit too much fun - Sephora have produced a Mistletoe Makeover, takes a little while to setup but the result is very funny or at least it was when using a picture of me (perhaps not the target audience).

Read A Book At Work

In an effort to promote books and reading, the New Zealand book council have created a campaign to encourage office workers to read during their working day. It disguises reading material as office documents. It doesn't take itself very seriously (Widows bc!) but is actually pretty convincing.
